This blog is my personal space where my love for food, stories, and everyday cooking comes together. I’m the voice, recipe developer, stylist, and photographer behind everything you see here.

Food has always fascinated me – not just the taste, but the colours, textures, and the quiet history behind traditional recipes. I’ve always believed that food carries memory and emotion, especially the kind that comes from home kitchens.

Why I Started This Food Blog

I started Twinkling Tina Cooks because I noticed something very real:
many people love traditional food but feel scared to cook it.

Recipes often look long, complicated, or overwhelming. Over time, that fear makes us depend more on ready-made food and slowly forget the dishes we grew up with.

This blog is my way of changing that.

Here, I simplify traditional recipes so they feel doable, even if you’re a beginner. I focus on breaking down the process, explaining the “why” behind steps, and keeping things practical for modern kitchens.

My Cooking Philosophy

I respect traditional methods, but I also understand today’s time constraints.

I don’t believe in shortcuts that kill flavour.
I also don’t believe good food needs to be difficult.

My approach is about balance—keeping the essence of a recipe intact while making it realistic for everyday cooking.

All recipes, photographs, and content on this blog are created by me. What you read here comes from personal experience, not theory.

Which Camera do you use?

Most of the photos in the blog are clicked on my iPhone 15 – yes it’s pretty good. When I am not very lazy i take out my Nikon D5300.
