peanut spread toast

This peanut spread toast recipe with fried egg and Provee is a quick and healthy breakfast option post workout.

Peanut spread has become a household favorite since even the little one likes it. Apart from the famous PBJs or Peanut spread and bacon sandwiches we add them in our smoothie bowls, breakfast bowls and in our milkshakes too. Are you scared of the concept of Peanut spread toast? You are the one who watches your calories and thinks about a protein rich diet? Look what I found out – Provee Peanut Spread, which is low in sugar and has 11g proteins. This peanut spread is a much healthier option. Want to know more? Keep Reading.

Breakfast Peanut Spread Toast Recipe

My post workout food is always protein rich – it has eggs with avocado spread, or oatmeal and egg omelet, or even chickpeas. Somedays you want something tasty that is rich in protein too.

The Peanut spread I am using here is 100% natural and low sugar – so makes the perfect sense for my breakfast recipe with peanut spread toast.

You can eat a multigrain toast with peanut spread just like that but what’s life without some twists! This fried egg and peanut spread toast gets its amazing taste from the creamy smooth peanut spread and the kick from the hot pepper sauce.

How to Make Fried Egg, Hot pepper and peanut spread toast?

This is a pretty simple recipe that you can try out for your breakfast. The bread I am using is a whole wheat bread – much healthier than regular white bread. You can use any kind of bread that you like though! Multigrain breads work just fine.

You get all the heat from the red pepper sauce – it adds a nice punch to the peanut butter toast. And there’s hardly anyone, I know who doesn’t like a good fried egg. Fried eggs are so versatile and can be customized according to your liking. I like both side fried and that’s what I am using here.

I am also using the low sugar and high protein Provee Peanut Spread.

Why this Provee Peanut Spread is a healthier option?

When I got my Provee packs of Protein Peanut spread Origical and Protein Peanut Spread Hazelnut, I found they are not just any regular nut spread but has health and taste both in it.

Each Provee sachet comes with a serving size of 2 tablespoons which is around 32g. It’s made of roasted peanuts, and whey protein concentrate. It’s 100% natural with no preservatives or added oil and its gluten free. Doesn’t that make a good choice?
